Online Therapy For Depression, Anxiety, and Phase of Life Stressors
“Change what you can, manage what you can't." -- Raymond McCauley
Individual Counseling Services
I offer individual counseling and psychotherapy services to young adults and adults only. I currently do not provide family sessions or marriage counseling. Understandably, sometimes there may be a desire to include family and significant others in your individual treatment from time-to-time and if deemed necessary and appropriate, this type of session may be offered on an as-needed basis.

Intake Assessment
I’m sure you’re ready to dive head-first into our session together and start therapy but before we do that, we have to complete an intake assessment at our first meeting. At that time, we will finalize any paperwork, review policies, and complete an in-depth interview to gather your history, symptoms, and goals. Although this can feel a bit dry, drawn out, and robotic, this time is important to help guide your treatment and identify your goals moving forward. It also helps us to begin the building of therapeutic relationship.

Individual Counseling Sessions
At our second meeting, we can start therapy — yay! 🙌 Here, we will work towards meeting your goals for life and for therapy. This could include processing, skill development and practice, and collaborating on strategies and thought processes that fit your goals, needs, circumstances, and personality. Whether you seek counseling for a short-term issue that you want to resolve or psychotherapy to dig deeper, the process is the same – opening up. Having trouble finding the words to describe what you feel? No problem, we will work our way up to that point. I know it takes time to trust someone new and I will hold that space for you.
Why Start Therapy?
Why NOT start therapy? The end…kidding!
Life can make you feel overwhelmed, uneasy, angry, afraid, and sometimes just depressed! Starting (or restarting) therapy could help you create a foundation for the progress you want (even if you feel hopeless).
Like you, I have a pretty busy life. Taking time out of your day for a therapy session can be hard to rationalize. We all have things to do — places to be, responsibilities that must be met, families and pets to take care of, bills to pay, work and school, sports, etc.
♦ Stop placing your life and mental health on the backburner.
♦ Stop saying “it’s fine” when it really isn’t.
♦ You can start to quiet the chaos.
